Judy Kroll is a former high school English teacher. It has been her dream to be an author of a memoir to share her story and give other people hope and inspiration! Her nickname is “Sparklz” because her husband thinks that she has a sparkling personality! She never stops growing and learning. She recently learned how to play guitar despite having no musical ability whatsoever! She believes that 1 in 5 people suffer from mental illness and/or drug addiction or know someone who has. She wants to tell her story so the shame and stigma can be eradicated! Through the music of Bruce Springsteen and her faith in G-d and Judaism, she has maintained her idealism and never gives up! Today she leads a “normal” and stable life in the suburbs with her husband and son. She has overcome a lot to get here and hopes that you will be inspired by her story!
